Scenes From Our 2007 Show
Eastern Shore Threshermen's 2007 show was held on August 3, 4, 5.
It was another hot year, especially on Saturday, which was very hot and humid with not a breath of air anywhere. But we had a good show, nevertheless. The crowd came out and enjoyed the show. The volunteers and vendors should all be commended for coming out and working to put on the show. A big Thank You to everyone!

We had a good variety of steam engines this year. There were eight full size engines and two scale models in operation. We had Fricks ...

... and a Keck Gonnerman, owned by the Singer Family and shown here belting up to the Baker fan ...

... a Peerless built by Emerson Brantingham owned by Ervin King, son-in-law Mervin Miller is inspecting the smokestack ...

.. a for the first time ever at our show, a Reeves engine. This 16 HP engine is owned by Josh Nace.

We had lots of tractors. From the largest - the "Spirit of 76" articulated 4 wheel drive Steiger Panther II with its Bicentennial paint job ...

... to the smallest tractors ...

...and every size in between ...

. . . all shades of red, orange and green . . .
.
... even some Prairie Gold.

We had pretty gray tractors with wheels ...

... to some pretty tractors with no wheels.

There were lots of small engines on display and in operation. These are demonstrating the various pieces of equipment which they were built to power.
